To provide this information to a Supplier, please use this link to the same article in the VendorPanel Supplier's Help Centre: https://vendorpanelsuppliers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/900002616006-How-to-View-Access-a-Public-Tender
This is a public page that anyone access. There are limited details of the tender here, with attachments inaccessible. For Suppliers to be able to view more details and respond they will need to access the Tender through a VendorPanel account. Tenders will be available under the Open Market Tenders section, see here for more information: How Suppliers View/Download a Request or Tender.
How Suppliers get Access to a Public Tender
To be able to have the opportunity to view and respond to a Public Tender, you will need to be registered against all of the below chosen by the buyer when creating the Tender:
- Marketplace Supplier Lists- - One of the lists selected by the buyer
- Categories-minimum one selected category by the buyer
- Regions of Service -- minimum one location that the Buyer selected when creating the Tender.
These are selected by the Buyer when creating the Tender, you can find more information here: Creating a Request or Tender.
Through the Public Tenders page, Suppliers can check these details by clicking the Preview button next to the Tender and scrolling down to find the supplier lists, categories and regions of service selected.
If the supplier is registered on at least one of the Marketplace lists selected on the Tender but they do not have access to the Tender in their account, they will likely need to edit their Categories or Regions of Service to ensure they have selected at least one of the categories and/or regions of service that the Buyer selected when creating the Tender.
If they are not registered on any of the Marketplace lists selected on the Tender, they can register by clicking the Access button. They will need to follow the prompts to register on the relevant list.
They'll be prompted to select one of the lists to register on and then provide their name and email address to request an invitation to register. They will be sent an email containing a link they can click to add the new list to their existing account or create a new account under the email address.
