The Expected Decision Date for a Request or Tender informs Suppliers when to expect an outcome for the responses they have submitted. For the benefit of Suppliers, we recommend keeping the expected decision date as accurate as possible.

You will initially set an expected decision date when creating the Request on the Submission Dates tab. You can edit this date as many times as you like while the Request is still open. Once the request closes, the expected decision date can be extended a maximum of three times.

The below steps will detail how you can update the Expected Decision Date once the request has closed:

  1. To extend an expected decision date, click the blue arrow icon to the right of the Request and select the Extend decision date option within the pop-up box.

  2. Select the length of time you want to extend the decision date by, and click the Save and Continue button to apply the changes.

  3. Suppliers will be notified of an extension to the expected decision date.
