By default, the Vendor Admin is the person who is responsible for reporting for a business on a list with SSR enabled. If this is not the most appropriate person to report, they can nominate another user to report on their behalf.

This person can be invited by you, the list owner, into the VendorPanel system. The supplier may contact you to initiate this process.

You will need to provide their name and email address and they will be sent a self-registration invitation. They will then need to complete their profile information before being able to report.

Once they have registered, this user can be nominated for other lists that the supplier would like them to report on their behalf for.

This person will become a Supplier Self Reporting (SSR) Reporter user within VendorPanel. Their user account will only have access to report sales for the list(s) that you nominate, all other functionality will be turned off (e.g. responding to RFQs).

To add this new user follow these steps:

From the main VendorPanel dashboard, navigate to the Enterprise Supplier Lists.

On the Manage Supplier List page, navigate to a list that has SSR enabled, then click on the button in the suppliers row to view suppliers on that list

For the supplier you wish to invite the new user for, click on the right hand arrow and then click on the Self Reporting config link.

On the left hand side of the subsequent configuration screen, the current reporting person will be listed (Mark James in the example below). You can rollover their name to bring up some additional details.

To invite the new SSR Reporter into the system, fill out the Full Name and Email Address to send a self registration link.

You can unlink the person you have invited at any time. The reporting obligation will fall back to the VendorAdmin.

Note:
The VendorAdmin or SSR reporters are the only two people who are eligible to report for a business. Colleagues are not currently supported within Supplier Self Reporting.

This new SSR reporter can’t currently exist in the VendorPanel system as a VendorAdmin, Colleague or Buyer. 

There can only be one person who reports for a specific list. It’s either the VendorAdmin OR the external SSR reporter, not both. 

If an external SSR reporter is unlinked from a business on a list, then the reporting obligation falls back to the Vendor Admin.
