Accounts in the Administrator Group of your enterprise can be assigned Local Group Administrator and Panel Administrator rights. Local Group Administrators (LGAs) can create and manage local groups within your organisation's enterprise.
The Super Admin can assign the Local Group Administrator role to a user. You can find instructions on how this is done here: Adding & Removing Administrator Roles.
You can find information on how Buyers & Local Group Managers can be prompted to be Local Group Administrators by the Super Admin here: Promoting Users to Managers/Administrators.
LGAs can perform the following actions:
- Create a new Local Group
- Manage and edit the settings of existing local groups
- Invite Local Group Managers and Buyers to register in the groups they manage
- Manage, transfer and remove Buyer and Local Group Manager accounts
- Promote Buyers to Local Group Managers in the groups they manage
- Assign Buyers to a new manager
- Approve Requests (pre-market)
- Approve Buyer decisions/selections (post-market)
- View the activity of Buyers in the Local Groups they manage
- View and download reports on the activity of the Local Groups they manage
- Impersonate other LGAs (if enabled) so they can access the local groups that the user is responsible for
LGAs do not automatically have Buyer rights. These are assigned to Administrators by the Super Admin either when inviting them to register, or after they have registered. With Buyer rights, they inherit all of the same capabilities as a Buyer (such as creating and posting requests), you can find an overview of this role here: Buyer - Role Overview.
LGAs only have access to the local groups they own. You can find information on how the Super Admin can assign ownership to a Local Group Administrator here: Transferring Ownership of a Local Group.
