After scoring is complete, intended decisions can be made against each respondent. The options for decision are:

  • Shortlisted
  • Preferred
  • Rejected
  • Runner-up

'Rejected' is the only option that has an impact as it prevents that respondent from being marked as 'Awarded' in the final decision. All other decisions are just for informational purposes at this stage.

There are a series of charts to help visualise the results of the consensus scoring and aids in making a decision. For the shortlisting decision, the procurement officer can log notes to accompany the decision.

When shortlisting is logged the final decision can be accessed. Outside of the system, this is where processes such as negotiations and BAFOs are expected to happen. The system supports a comments area and changing of the offer amounts to accommodate this process. For each respondent, the initial decision from the shortlist is displayed alongside the final decision which can help show the story which would have happened between the intended decision and the final result.

Any number of responses can be awarded or rejected, there does not need to be exact one award, there can be none or many. The results get posted back to Go to Market and the award process happens from there.
