Use this area to view the permissions of all forms in the system.
The Read / Write / Delete / Administrate columns define which users or groups have access to those functions on the specific form. These are typically easy to interpret.
The Read Filter and Write Filter columns define the generic rules that determine who can read or write any specific record on any form.
A basic rule would be if a user is assigned to something they can read it.
The user specified in the Read/Write Filter must be within a subset of the groups defined in the Read/Write columns on the left in order to access the specific records.
For simplification, there are two gates for accessing data - having access to the form, then having access to the specific records.
Configuration Users
The ability to use the 'Edit' button is restricted to configurators who use the form designer.
Adjusting Roles
Also on this page is a tool for adjusting the roles specified on the form level permissions (Read / Write / Delete / Administrate).
This can be used by clicking on the row you want to adjust the permission for, then selecting the role, and the permission level and clicking either Add or Remove to apply the rule.
You can select multiple rows at once by either Shift-clicking or Control-clicking the rows (i.e. holding down shift/control when mouse clicking on the target rows).
