What is Policy Guide?

Policy Guide helps staff understand how to purchase before they buy.

 

The module uses configurable workflows to guide Buyers through your procurement policy, on-screen and in real-time. It ensures they go to market the correct way, as determined by what they are buying, cost thresholds, risk level or other factors that you control.

Depending on the policy rules of your organisation, Buyers can be directed to create an RFx, sent to a travel booking platform or catalogue, or to any other procurement process.

Spending under contract can be maximised as Buyers are guided to use contracts where appropriate.

With no need to refer to printed policy documents, compliance is automatically assured during policy changes or staff turnover.

For Admins, policy rules are easy to build using a drag-and-drop interface. You can find steps on how to build a Policy Guide here: Building a Policy Guide.

Workflows can be set up to include approval processes and notifications, or other advanced steps where needed.
