The Map Servers (LGA Boundaries) functionality allows for Map Servers to be set up for an organisation. This also includes premade map configurations such as Local Government Area Boundaries (LGA Boundaries).
Map Servers allow third-party map data to be used to set up and define boundaries within the Request Wizard. This functionality includes premade Map configurations such as LGA Boundaries or a breakdown by Postcodes.
Once this functionality has been activated, Buyers can use these in the Request Wizard in order to filter suppliers to a specific region rather than utilising the current distance filter which is primarily based on the distance between the Buyer and Supplier's set location.
These filters can be customised to only display regions relevant to your organisation as well as setting up regions that would be pre-selected in the RFx Wizard.
This functionality provides additional distance options when searching for Suppliers within the RFx Wizard, and can be used to display Suppliers who are within a predefined region, such as LGA Boundaries or Postcodes.
If you don't have access to LGA Boundaries and would like to learn more, speak to your Customer Success or Account Manager.
Utilising LGA Boundaries
To access LGA Boundaries, you will need to create a new Request. You can opt to create one from scratch or use an existing template.
You can filter by LGA Boundaries at the "Select Suppliers" step of the 'Request Wizard'. Do this using the drop-down that may already be defaulted to a distance (km) or a boundary.
Viewing the "Map" to the right of this filter will display the boundaries selected.
