Filter Tags are tags applied to a Supplier profile on a list. They are used as search and identification tags to help find the Suppliers relevant to your request.
Filter Tags are created and attached to suppliers by the Super Admin or a Panel Administrator. The Tags are created on a whole-organisation level and are applied to Suppliers on the list level, so different Tags can be used for different lists. You can find information on how these tags are setup here: Creating & Assigning Filter Tags.
Because the Tags are created by your organisation, they can be set up to fit your own Supplier identification or categorisation methods.
If the Filter Tags functionality has been enabled for your organisation and has been activated for your Supplier lists, then you'll be able to use these when you're creating a Request and selecting Suppliers.
- When you are on the Select Suppliers step in the Request Wizard and have already selected your Categories and Supplier Lists to use and are now selecting Suppliers, you'll see the option to Filter Suppliers above the list of Suppliers. Click on the filter icon on the right of the field to display you're filtering options.
- Select the option to select Supplier Filter Tags.
- When you click on this button, you will see the available Filter Tags and can select the relevant ones for your Request.
- If you want to only see the Suppliers that meet ALL of the selected filter tags, ensure you select the option for suppliers to have ALL selected tags before applying the filters. Click on Save Tags once you've made your selections.
- You'll be taken back to the list of suppliers and you'll see Suppliers that match the filter tags selections you've made.
