Enhancements to Advanced Evaluations delivered in January

  • Updated

January 2025

Over the last couple of months, one of our core focuses has been improving the usability and enhancing some of the functionality in Advanced Evaluations. Many of these updates have been requested by customers as improvements that would make their lives a little easier so we're pleased to be delivering a package that will do just that!

Addition of consensus comments to csv report

We heard from customers that comments saved during the consensus process was useful information to include in the evaluation report. As such, there is now an additional column in the report titled 'Evaluation Scoring Data' for displaying this data.

Improvements to behaviour of Conflict of Interest

The system now notifies the Evaluation Chair when a conflict has been raised, allowing the Chair to review and either approve or reject the Evaluator as they deem fit.

Evaluators who have raised a conflict with then either have a status of 'Agreed with conflicts' or 'Did not agree' and they will not be able to access the Evaluation data until they have been approved.

Ability to download evaluator data prior to consensus stage

We understand that being able to download evaluator scores and commentary prior to going into a consensus discussion is really helpful so you can now do this :)

Improved presentation to highlight changes in scoring following consensus process

To make it clearer for Evaluators we've changed the way we present scores so that the score given prior to consensus (Initial score) remains visible following the consensus process and can be viewed alongside the consensus score (Final score) so that Evaluators can quickly see how the score changed, if at all, in consensus review.

Note: To make room for the additional column in the table and remove some of the noise from the page, we have moved the documents section which is now accessible by clicking on the 'Documents' button on the top right of the table. We've applied the same function to the Questions to reduce the noise on the page.

Re-arrangement of Respondents in accordance with how they rank

To make is easier to read the results of an evaluation, we've rearranged the way that the respondents are displayed in all in system and downloadable reports to ensure that the highest ranking supplier is at the top and the following respondents are ordered accordingly from highest to lowest.

Inclusion of questions and respondent business name in the summary table

To make it easier for users to read the evaluation summary table we've included the respondents business name (aside their number) and added a column for the questions.

Mail merge reports able to selected as final Evaluation Report (sent to Go to Market)

Mail merge reports can be structured to suit organisational or team preferences / needs and are often the preferred way to present the evaluation information. With this release, mail merge reports will be included with the Evaluation Report PDF as options so users can select the format that best suits their need to include in the Request Summary package.

Ability for Admins to quickly switch to Evaluator view

Sometimes system administrators also need to evaluate responses and in these instances we want to make it easy for them to switch to Evaluator mode so they can complete their evaluations.
