When Buyers in a Local Group create an Request, the Super Admin and Local Group Administrators are able to set a recommended minimum number of Suppliers to select on an Request. If the Buyer does not select the minimum number when selecting suppliers on an Request they are given a warning message indicating they have not selected the recommended minimum number of Supplier an Request should be sent to.

Please note this is just a recommended number and if Buyers don't select the minimum number of Suppliers they can still send their request to the selected suppliers.

This number by default is set to 3 but can be updated for a Local Group and its Buyers within the Local Group settings. Follow the below steps to update this:

  1. Select Local Groups and Users under the Admin Tools menu (either in the top menubar or on the homepage on the left-side menu).

  2. Against the required list, click on the blue arrow icon to bring up the options. Select Edit local group.

  3. Under the Request Settings section, update the 'When a buyer in this group creates an Request, what is the recommended MINIMUM NUMBER OF VENDORS the Request should be posted to?' number field from 3 to the desired number of suppliers.
