Increased utility
- Now all request types (not just FOI) can be set up to follow a structured process. Administrators can determine if a particular request type will follow a process or not from their settings.
- To meet the legislative requirement for third party consultation on documents relating to personal affairs, business affairs or research, two optional steps have been added to the 'Assessment' phase allowing:
- A requirement for documents to be referenced
- For the FOI officer, we've added a 'Document References' section to allow multiple docs to be linked, each with its own notes section.
- A requirement for documents to be referenced
-
- A requirement for consultation
- For the FOI officer, we've included a 'Consultation' section for the details of the consultation to be tracked and reported on.
- A requirement for consultation
- New field: 'Location address'. For copyright and FOI requests that relate to property or street, we've added an optional field called 'Location address' that can be entered and reported on. This field can be made visible/hidden by Administrators in Settings.
- New link to view legislation when applying an exemption. Clicking on this link displays the details of the select Act to help the FOI Officer find the appropriate exemption to use.
Increased flexibility
- The 'Section Transfer' field has an additional option so users can toggle between a Section 18 Transfer and a Section 16 Transfer.
- Some State Governments calculate the application fee based on the time spent processing it, however others do not. Therefore we've created a field for 'Time spent' that can be made visible/hidden by Administrators in Settings.
