Home is a one-stop shop for everything related to your procurement and contract management, providing a central entry point as well as a place for staff to go to access advice and key documentation. It is the entry point to the VendorPanel platform, allowing users to easily and quickly navigate to the solution or process they require.

The Home page is broken down into the following sections:

• Sentence Builder – helps users to get to the right part of the system for the action they wish to take.
• Announcements – where the system administrators can add messages they want their users to see.​
• Actions – where users can see their outstanding actions or alerts from the various VendorPanel modules.
• Module tiles – where the users can see tiles that link them to the different VendorPanel modules as well as to external systems.​
• Documents and links – where system administrators can add links to important documents or webpages.

All of these sections are manageable by System Administrators and you can find information on that here: Managing your Home page in the System Settings.

Sentence Builder

The Sentence Builder tool helps users navigate to the right part of the system for the action they wish to take. The tool works by building sentences into two selectable prompts:

• What action do I want to take (start, find, learn, etc..)
• What thing do I want to do the action against

Clicking the 'Go' button then takes the user to the relevant page in the relevant module.

Announcements

System Administrators can use the Announcements section to provide information to all users. There can be multiple active announcements at a time, with each one having a set display period. You can simply click on the announcement from the homepage to bring up the details. It may also include attachments that can be downloaded.

Alerts and Actions

The Alerts and Actions section provides a list of outstanding tasks that are assigned to you to action or complete across all of the VendorPanel modules.

Clicking on the row text or Action button will then take you to the specific part of the module to take the required action.

Module Tiles

This section will serve as your navigation as it contains tiles that will link you to the different modules you have access to, as well as potentially providing links to external systems and webpages where relevant.​

If there are actions listed for a specific module, there will also be a red dot appearing on the module tile to let you know where there are pending actions.

Document and links ​

This section contains links that you can use to access important documents or webpages that your System Administrators have set up for you to be able to use to navigate to different areas.
