A vanity URL is a personalised URL for your enterprise that uses a clear and concise address versus one filled with random alpha-numeric characters. Customers with Go To Market should have a vanity URL.
A vanity URL will take the form of: www.vendorpanel.com.au/<vanityname>. With <vanityname> being your unique, shortened name for your enterprise.

An organisation's long-form url would look similar to: https://www.vendorpanel.com.au/?emcc=000000000000
…. or, using a vanity URL: https://www.vendorpanel.com.au/vp

I don’t know my organisation’s vanity name

There are a couple of ways to establish your vanity name/url:

  • Reach out to your Super Admin as we share this information with them.
  • Contact support and we will find it for you.

Using Vanity URLs

It is recommended that the following vanity URLs are used in favour of the more commonly used long-form URLs:

Please Note

In the following examples, remember to replace <vanityname> with your unique enterprise name.

Vanity URL Use Case
www.vendorpanel.com.au/<vanityname>

For internal users of your VendorPanel enterprise.

Post this link to your intranet or internal documentation for the quickest possible way to access VendorPanel.

Do not link suppliers to this page.

www.vendorpanel.com.au/<vanityname>/tenders

Displays all current public tenders for your organisation.

Provide this link to direct prospective respondents to a single page for your open tenders.

www.vendorpanel.com.au/<vanityname>/closedtenders

Displays all closed public tenders posted by your organisation.

Provide this link to allow respondents to review the status of closed tenders i.e. expected decision dates, procurement team contact details (if they choose to display them) etc.

www.vendorpanel.com.au/<vanityname>/marketplace

A branded marketplace page for Suppliers. This will only show the marketplace lists that have been configured and shared by your organisation.

Provide this link to direct prospective suppliers to register for the public marketplace.

Linking to a specific tender

When sharing a tender, it’s common for Buyers to provide multiple steps or potentially confusing instructions when directing a user to the tender.

This can be avoided by linking them directly to the tender in order to request access and receive an invitation via email.

  1. Go to your Tenders page URL: www.vendorpanel.com.au/<vanityname>/tenders
  2. Next to the tender you want to share, select the Access Request button.
  3. Copy the full URL and provide accordingly.
