Once you have created and posted a Request to invited Suppliers, you can edit the request and invite more Suppliers at any point before the close date and time.
- To edit an open Request or Tender, click the three vertical dots icon to the right of it to bring up the options and select the Edit this request option within the pop-up box.
- Go to the Select Suppliers tab.
- You can select more Categories and Supplier Lists if you need to by clicking on the options. Or, you can select Suppliers to bring up the list of Suppliers that are on the Categories and Supplier Lists selected.
- The Suppliers at the top of the list highlighted with a grey background are those who have already been invited. They cannot be unselected at this point.
- You can use the filter options at the top to filter the list of Suppliers. See here for more information: Creating a Request or Tender - Selecting Suppliers.
- Select any new suppliers to invite and then click on the Use these suppliers button at the bottom.
- New suppliers you've selected and saved, but not posted the request to yet, will be highlighted in green.
- You can make any other changes to the request if you need to, and then go to the Save and Update tab.
- In the textbox titled Notify Suppliers of Changes?, you can enter your message to the suppliers. This will be sent to all Suppliers on the request and also be added as an Update to the request. You can leave this blank if you don't wish to notify all Suppliers. The newly selected Suppliers will be notified regardless.
- Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page to officially invite the newly selected Suppliers.
This will send a notification to all new Suppliers you've invited to alert them.
