The Super Admin has the ability to promote and demote all users within the enterprise.

The flow of role progression is a Buyer can be promoted to be a Local Group Manager, and can then be promoted to be a Local Group Administrator and/or a Panel Administrator. A Buyer cannot be promoted directly to an administrator level, they would need to be promoted to be a Local Group Manager first.

A Local Group Administrator can also promote a Buyer to be a Local Group Manager. However, they cannot promote a Local Group Manager to be an administrator, this can only be done by the Super Admin.

A Local Group Manager cannot promote Buyers.

You can find information on how to demote users here: Demoting Administrators & Managers to Buyers.

Promote a Buyer to be a Local Group Manager

This can be actioned either by the Super Admin or the Local Group Administrator who owns the Local Group.

Select Local Groups and Users under the Admin Tools menu (either in the top menu bar or on the homepage on the left-side menu).

Select to view the Buyers in the relevant Local Group.

When you find the relevant user, click the three vertical dots to the right of the user and select the Promote this user option.

The only permission level available to select will be the Local Group Manager. Select any add-on permissions from the options provided. We recommend selecting all permissions as you want to utilise the functionality in the future.

Click the Promote button and then confirm the action in the dialogue box.

You'll receive confirmation that the user has been promoted to be a Local Group Manager. This will move them into the Admin/Mgrs section on the Local Group.

Promote a Local Group Manager to be a Local Group/Panel Administrator

This can only be actioned by the Super Admin.

Select Local Groups and Users under the Admin Tools menu (either in the top menu bar or on the homepage on the left-side menu).

Select to view the Admin/Mgrs in the relevant Local Group.

When you find the relevant user, click the right hand arrow button to the right of the user and select the Promote this user option.

You'll need to select one permission level, either Enterprise Panel Administrator or Local Group Administrator. Once you promote them you'll be able to assign the other permission role to them.

If you had previously selected all addon permissions when promoting them to be a Local Group Manager then you won't be able to remove these permissions. If not, you can select them here. We recommend selecting all permissions as you want to utilise the functionality in the future.

Click the Promote button and then confirm the action in the dialogue box.

You'll receive confirmation that the user has been promoted to the permission level you selected. This will move them into the Administrators Group.

You can find instructions on how to apply both administrator roles to the user here: Adding & Removing Administrator Roles.
