How to Update Details of Contracts

As the Super Administrator of your Contracts Monitor (CM) enterprise, you can manage contracts created by all users.

  1. On the home page, click on the Switch to Enterprise view button on the Personal Dashboard.

  2. Under Contracts in the Enterprise Dashboard, click on the blue numbered square to the right of the Published heading to access published contracts.

  3. Alternatively, you can search for specific contracts by clicking on the Search button. This will take you to the Find published active contracts page. 

    There you can enter keywords within the free-text field that are relevant to your desired contract. These can include the following: 
    • Contract title
    • Contract description
    • Reference number
    • Party name
    • Party business number

    You can also specify the contract status you are searching for by clicking on the dropdown menu under the Contract Status heading.

    Once done inputting your desired information, click the Search button to the right of the page to search for your desired contract.

  4. You will be presented with a list of all published contracts within the CM enterprise.

  5. The title, reference number, and owner of the contract are specified on this page.

    Please note

    You can hover over the name of the owner to view a pop-up bubble detailing their contact information.

    You can impersonate the contract owner by clicking on the Impersonate link to the right of the contract owner.

  6. You have four options to make changes to a published contract.
    1. Editing your own published contract
    2. Impersonating a user to edit their published contract
    3. Editing either your own or another user's not published contract
    4. Un-archiving a contract to edit the contract.

Edit your own Contract

  1. On the All published contracts page, click the name of the contract under the title column.

  2. You will be directed to the landing page of the contract where you will have options to edit or add a number of contract details.

  3. Against the relevant options and sections, click on the Add/Edit, Add, or Link buttons to make changes to the contract.

  4. Once you click on an Add/Edit, Add, Link button, you will be directed to another page where you will be prompted to add or edit details of the contract. 

  5. Make sure you click the Save button to save your changes to the contract.

Impersonate the Contract Owner to edit the Contract

  1. Click on the Impersonate link to the right of your desired contract.

  2. While impersonating the contract owner, click on the My contracts link on the home page.

  3. Either search for the desired contract or navigate to the contract under the title heading.

  4. Click on the name of the contract to enter the landing page of the contract where you will have options to edit or add a number of contract details.

  5. Against the relevant options and sections, click on the Add/Edit, Add, or Link buttons to make changes to the contract.

  6. Once you click on an Add/Edit, Add, Link button, you will be directed to another page where you will be prompted to add or edit details of the contract. 

  7. Make sure you click the Save button to save your changes to the contract.

  8. Once you have completed editing the contract, end impersonation by clicking the red Impersonate Mode button in the top right corner and then selecting End impersonating.

Editing Not Published Contracts

  1. Contracts that have not been published can be edited by selecting the blue numbered square to the right of the Not published heading under Contracts on your Enterprise Dashboard.

  2. On the All unpublished contracts page, click on the Impersonate link to the right of the desired contract to impersonate the contract owner.

    Follow steps 2-8 of the Impersonate the Contract Owner to edit the Contract instructions. 

Editing Archived Contracts

  1. If you would like to edit an archived contract, you will need to first unarchive the contract. To do this, click the blue numbered button to the right of the Archived heading under the Contracts heading of the Enterprise Dashboard

  2. For contacts that you do not own, follow steps 1-4 of the Impersonate the Contract Owner to edit the Contract instructions.

    For contracts that you do own, click on click the name of the contract under the title column of the All published contracts heading.

  3. Next click on the options and settings button at the top right corner of the contracts landing page that you have just opened.

  4. In the pop-up bubble that appears, click on the blue Unarchive contract link to unarchive the contract.

  5. Click the Ok button in the browser dialogue box that appears to confirm your decision.

  6. You can then make changes to the contracts as outlined in the instructions of options 1 and 2 above.
